s2 MIL triggered
Discussion
It's probably due to your cat pipe. The ECU monitors carbon monoxide levels fore and aft of the catalyst, if they haven't been reduced by a suitable amount it assumes your cat has failed and the MIL light goes on. The revs/speed situation in which the test is performed is a fairly unusual one, which may explain why it took a while for the light to come on.
Whether this is a problem or not depends on the view your country takes of a car being operated out of its emissions spec. In the UK, such a car is technically illegal (although this would not be apparent to anyone until the MOT test, and if you blank the ECU and replace the cat before that...).
