Elise S1/ Exige body work.
Discussion
It's not as simple as just adding a ftont/rear clam and roof panel though. There are other bits and pieces that you need to do the conversion properly. There are a number of little bits and pieces, some of which are hard to find to do it all properly. There are a good number of converted Elise Exige look-alikes out there though... it's not a cheap upgrade at all though, unless you're prepared to do a lot of work yourself.
Still far cheaper than buying a genuine Exige S1 though.

not that hard, all the panels are bolt on.Still far cheaper than buying a genuine Exige S1 though.
yes, it's more than just the two clams, but not much more, two over-sills, spliter, roof, engine cover, that's it.
Agreed Simon, but there are other little bits like the trim panels on the inside of the engine bay, the interior roof skin (if you're buying a bare fibreglass roof outer skin), the inner arches etc. Of course none of these are critical if you're just after the outer body shape, but there are other bits aside from the clams/roof that make an Exige replica more faithful (including pouring a bag of nails into the engine to mimic the classic VHPD sound )
Eliseparts will sell you a kit to turn an Elise into and underpowered exige-a-like

I suppose that depends a lot on whether your Elise is under powered compared to an Exige http://www.eliseparts.com/products/show/14/88/moto...

to be fair, a decent VVC engine will be dam close on performance to your typical VHPD chevronb37 said:
And likely somewhat more useable too. In spite of its (many) failings, the buzz I get when I start up the VHPD and it's gargling and barking and spitting fuel out everywhere is just awesome. Absolutely love it.
agreed,Although I still prefer this sound...

not sure what terms you want it in?they are actually Motorsport Elises (splitting hairs I know!), with supercharged Honda K20A2 engines (basically the same as the road car conversions), and (for this year) the prototype Eliseparts sequential gearboxes (with paddleshifts), full CF bodywork, Eliseparts wishbones/ARB/uprights, Quantum Dampers, etc. they are approx 380Bhp, and currently ~725Kg's.
never done any standing start timing on them apart from race start data, but typically they can hit 100Kmh in <2.5 sec's, and are geared to ~272Kmh (actually, this is a bit short as they were on the limiter at Bathurst).
Pace wise, subject to the cct, they are on par with a current 911 GT3 cup S with equivalent driver.
the second one was built a couple of year ago, Dave did a short blog here:

the first one has been re-built to the same spec now, so essentially, they are the same.

rear window is the same as an elise.
do you mean perspex engine cover? in which case, no, they are like rocking house poo
No, I didn't mean the window between the cockpit and engine bay.do you mean perspex engine cover? in which case, no, they are like rocking house poo
I see? S1 Exige engine cover window isn't available.
So a convincing S1 Exige replica isn't a goer.
Ah well..
You could use a Motorsport Elise slotted engine cover? Lots of S1 Exiges use them... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3199690.htm

So that's the only way? That S1 Exige you've posted a link to, looks particularly good, especially in titanium. Even though the motorsport rear cover would suggests that it isn't a genuine Exige (even though it is).
Aside from the genuine Exige engine window, I do quite like the detail and design of the motorsport Elise rear cover.
Now I just need to swap my Stratos replica for a base S1 Elise?
