Looking to buy a track car and having been quoted £600 fully comp including track day cover for a TVR T350 I was stunned to be quoted £1000 for the same cover on an Exige S eek. This was from Mannings - any thoughts on where else to try for cover including track days?
Thanks

Henderson Taylor. I pay less than this for my Exige inc 6 free trackdays and Euro cover.

As a comparison, 36yo, 10 years NCB, no points, rural-ish Leeds, Exige S (240pp), approx £700-800 with CCI. If they can't do better at renewal in a couple of months I'll be shopping around.

35 year old male, 3 points, 5 years NCD (Insurance companies don't seem to count higher that this now, I'm incident free in 17 years), 7500 mile limit, 6 track days, includes commuting, modified...£674.64. I dare say I could have got it a bit cheaper, but I don't think this is too bad

I'll throw mine in - CCI:
S2 N/A: 30 years old, 6 years NCD, ~OK postcode, 6 points, 3,000 mile limit, 6 track days, windscreen cover, single site commute, -10% owners club, -10% driver tuition certificate... £400.
I have only dealt with CCI from the policy buying side of the table but have found them very helpful.

I pay £265 for my Elise with CCI, 27 years old, full NCD, no claims or convictions, garaged in an okay area and 3,000 miles a year - includes 6 track days. That includes my 10% discount for being a SELOC member.

Was actually planning on ringing around this year, but when I got the renewal through figured I wasn't going to save enough to be worth the hassle really.

That is cheap for a 27 year old.

Actually, just realised I was 26 when I renewed it.

That's with modified suspension, diffuser, brakes, gear linkage, seats and harnesses all declared on the insurance as well.

Touch wood & all that jazz – with CCI proving quite popular has anybody had to deal with them regarding a claim etc?
