Which one would you get?
I do about 3-4K per year so ideally would like them to last a couple of years.
A few track days in the year and a couple of activity days.
Mainly used for weekend fun out on the country roads.

I know i can get Kumho's or something else but i fancy something sticky hence looking at these two.

Any pros or cons over one or the other?

I was going to get the AD08's but cant get the fronts anywhere at the moment so would need to wait a few weeks, not a major problem.

Cheers

I put T1-R's on my Exige S as I only did road miles and the Yoko 48's were crap in the wet (plus the rears wore out at 3k miles).

They were looking good 9k miles later and for road use they were perfectly adequate - however, the sidewalls weren't as stiff and this initially made the handling feel a bit "looser".

At 350 quid for a full set, I really rated them, however, when pushed really hard in hot weather, they would start to get squishy and I suspect a track day would destroy them?

I would think the AD08's would be the better overall tyre?

Edit: Just read the title again and you want R1R's - please ignore above ramblings!

I'm currently running Ad08 yoko's on an Exige, never tried the R1R toyo so can't comment. I would rate the Ad08's as simlar to the Yokohama Advan Neova LTS I used to have on my S1 Elise.
Not tried them on track yet, but planning on using them for wet track days and general road work through the Autumn & colder months.

I'm running R1R's on my S1 Exige and rate them for fast road use. I did an Alpine tour last year and they were great at handling both the wet and dry conditions. I plan to put more of the same on when the time comes.

Thanks guys. Appreciate your comments.
What sort of mileage are you getting out of the R1R's?
