Had my car 3 weeks now and looking forward to its first trackday tomorrow (still has skinny front tyres though, but I thought I`d get the hang of the car before improving it)....left the car for a week, and the battery was flat....was ok the previous two weeks (is the battery on its way out or do they only hold charge for a week?)....went on a 20 mile run and hit a deer!!...thankfully not too much damage (was not being silly)...small crack, and some crazed laquer behind the number plate in lower front clam and one driving light lense smashed...I expected far worse....still, all quite depressing really.

I live in South Norfolk....anyone know where I can get it repaired locally without being ripped off?

As I have only had mine a couple of months I can't really comment but from what i understand they are not great being left for long periods. If you have power in your garage then a battery conditioner might be a good idea.

Had a flat battery after 3 days having left the courtesy light in the on position. Still dont know how it got turned on but there we go. Other than that I've left my car 2 weeks and its always started. Shame about the 'little dear'. I think it would p..s me off big time.

Just got back from 3 week holiday, started first time, have an uprated bosch battery, search the forums, you will see which ones fit, and the various weights for them.

Sorry to hear about the prang. Hopefully someone will come along to point you to a good repairer.
