I quite fancy one but how can they justify £275?

Ok I've spent out on a Larini Club Sport exhaust, lovely sound and a removable steering wheel, lovely feel, neither of which I realy needed but they have improved the driving expirence for me.

Is the Pipercross worth it?

Quick bit of shopping bring's up one for http://www.larkspeed.com/index.pl?a=i&k=s&... £258.
Are they worth it... In a word NO. Yes they look very very good, full carbon intake etc. But there is no proven information to show that they are 3x better than the trd air box or a standard air box.
I would personally be buying a trd induction box and filter(from your local lotus dealer) for approx £75 and spend the rest on a track day!!.

Or if you want free noise, remove the snorkel, and disconnect the vaccum flap for the air box(this is the pipe that runs from above right accross and down the back of the airbox), so that the air filter runs open all the time.

Your choice.

Hello mate the VIS looks amazing, I think it looks and sounds the part.
There are documented dyno's that show improved performance from replacing standard panel filter to Pipercross panel filters and even more gain when replaced with an Induction Kit.

FYI: I would see http://www.thepipercrossshop.co.uk/ for more info

And for the VIS Dyno results please see

Me personally I have A venom on My GTI and am very happy but at the end of the day its always about what your really want and are trying to achieve and not so much about the price.

Hope you come good.

I have one from my old set up.

I could be persuaded to part with it for a hundred smackers.
