How Many Left - Europas ?

Hi all and welcome to my first post on PistonHeads.

I have recently acquired a Europa S.

So, last Sunday Clarkson was blatering on about the How Many Left website. This got me to thinking how many Europas are left in the UK. I understand many were exported, with all Lotus derivatives being very popular in Japan.

Claims 398 Europa S were manufactured and 58 Europa SE between 2006 and 2010.

The info for the Europa SE seems to fit the expected timeframe with the first 3 cars being registered in 2008 and another 2 by 2010. But are there really only 5 of the 58 Europa SE on the road in the UK ?

However I cannot make head nor tail of the other entries. With the registrations going back beyond 1994 they, obviously, all contain vintage Europa. But, even if the Europa S followed the same pattern as the SE and only 10% remained in the UK then I would expect to see a marked increase of approx 40 cars registered between 2006 and 2010. None of the lines appear to display such ?

Is it just me ? Or does the info look suspect ?

Does anyone have any evidence from alternative sources to suggest how many Europa S / SE remain on the roads in the UK ?

I think if you look at Lotus in general there are 367 unknown models starting in 2007 so that could be them?

Post up a photo of your car . I must be living in a Europa hotspot as two people witin 0ne mile either side of me have bought europas, three cars within a two mile radius must be somekind of record.
