Hi,
Had my Milltek full system fitted today, was told it was not the straight swap I was expecting. With the twin tail pipes, one pipe sticks out further, this is all welded, so not something that could be easily adjusted.

Has anyone else experienced wonky tail pipes or is mine unique!

Despite this it does sound very good!

Thanks.
Paul.

Mine's made by Miltek. It sounds great. It's also fking wonky and drives me insane. It's so marginal - with one tailpipe lower than the other by 2mm at most, but it bugs the hell out of me. Can't really justify buying a new exhaust when there's nothing else wrong with it. Still, it's covered in carbon and black now, so it doesn't really stand out!!!

mine is straight and level but either way its worth it as the difference in power and sound in massive.

Took it around the Peak District this morning, does sound excellent. Love the pops and crackles on over run. Power delivery seems better and more eager.

Measured my tail pipes, the right one is 3mm shorter. Doesn't sound much but does bug me! This was an expensive item and should fit properly.

It would bug me as well...

I'd probably end up taking the car to an exhaust specialist like 'tip top' and have them take the tips off and re-place them correctly or fit some of their own same diameter tips on to the back box if that was a better solution.

Either way it would be corrected!

I've got the Christopher Neil exhaust fitted, and that's the same, with one tip slightly offset and sticking further out than t'other, not by much.

I would like to thank Garry at Motorsport World and Milltek. I now have a replacement tail pipe to fit this weekend. The new pipes are equal this time.
