Yellow S1 Elise On A49 South of Shrewsbury on 04/06/2011
Discussion
If the owner of the yellow S1 Elise (L***YEL) that I was behind, going south on the A49 from Shrewsbury on Friday, is a member on here, your brake lights are staying on.
If you've not already sorted it then it's probably just a matter of adjusting the brake light switch sensitivity (screw adjuster under the front service panel on the driver's side bulkhead). I'm sure there's a thread on here or SELOC about it with pictures, but I can't find it, if anyone has the link.

OR here (not sure if the S2 is different, but sounds the same as S1)

Had this problem myself and it's easy to fix, but I only found out when it flattened my battery. Why are the brake lights wired so that they can come on when the ignition is off for goodness sake?
Edited to to say Friday was the 3rd of June not the 4th...b*ll*cks.
