Following on from my previous post, as of today I am the proud owner of a lovely 111R!

The car is in stunning condition, but does need a few minor things doing to it (front brake pads, exhaust heat sheilds, loose connection in dashboard).

Can anyone please recommend a good garage for this as well as future servicing work in or around North London... I'm in Islington.

Thanks!

Essex Autosport, formerly Sinclaires, in Romford.

I've used EA extensively.... and they come recommended... as do Lakeside Engineering, who are near West Byfleet. Trouble is, they are a long way (timewise at least) away.

I've not used these guys before, but I've heard good things (just don;t expect it to look like an OPC or anything). I'll be dropping the car off with them for its next bread&butter service - between Shepherds Bush & Hammersmith

Thanks Chaps.

Getting out to Romford or Lakeside is not as easy for me as getting to West London, as I work in Ealing, so Morland Jones sound perfect.

Can anyone lese tell of their experiences with Morland Jones, please???

Morland Jones - they seem know what they are doing, however they like to charge you as well (regardless of the hourly rate).

Thanks to all your advice I have booked the car in with Morland Jones.

I will take care of what they charge, though!

Excuse the short reply, but I must go out now to drive my 111R around... Yay!

Another vote for Morland Jones. I didn't find them expensive and more importantly they didn't try to rip me off which has happened more than once at the main dealers.

If you work in West London and fancy a short drive out on the M4, I cannot recommend Steve Williams Lotus in Maidenhead enough. What he doesn't know about Lotus isn't worth knowing!

And another vote for Morland Jones, they've looked after my 111S for two years, and I would thoroughly recommend them.

I don't find them expensive at all, far from it. A couple of times they have done jobs for me (modifications rather then servicing/repairs), and because it was the first time they'd had to tackle it, they've discounted the labour.
