R.I.P. BoLOCs ??

So whats happening to us ? Are we just so old and boring now, that we have taken to sitting in front of the fire with our slippers and prefer that to taking the machines out for a blast in the countryside.
2011 has got to have been our worst year so far. Is this the end of the BoLOCs ?

Surely there must be a few of us left that have the energy to make an effort and stay up past 22:00 on a Friday evening for a Burger Run, or get up early for a Sunday Breakfast blast.

I'm still alive, however I am heading for the chunnel on Friday so burger run is out of the question.
I shall however be doing several bratwurst runs while I'm over there.

Im afraid a combination of 1 year old daughter, and that i have sold the car makes it difficult to do!!! The odd social would be good from time to time!

There have been 2 BOLOC weddings this year a third and forth to come, various track days with BOLOC members are constant and the annual BOLOCS to Le Mans heads out in two weeks.

Very much still go in the sense that south coast lotus owners continue to meet up and enjoy their cars.

Had a couple of great 'runs' with the BOLOCS and would loved to have become more involved but unfortunately circumstances didn't permit. Now I'm seperated from the ex I, frustratingly, have the time but not the car (Had to go to help finance my way through a very difficult year )

Still around but dont use the Elise much, it costs me more than it entertains me these days (contemeplating selling up), doing the house up and having too many other toys has got in the way a bit.

Do you live around Southbourne Beachbum? I often pass a car that loks like yours on my way in to town.
