I am thinking of fitting an intercom in my Elise for the trip down to Le Mans (I have a Larini exhaust system so conversation at speed isn't really possible!). I don't want to spend a fortune or wire anything in to the car 12v, but if I can I'd like to attach my iphone/ipod to the system. Has anyone done this, or have any advice?

Cheers

Yes, but I spent about £180 on one. Worked perfectly other than Mrs FW not wanting to wear the headset rage

Plugged it into the 12v socket, connected to ipod so we could both hear music and podcasts

Set of decent earplugs for you and passenger: You might be surprised to discover you'll hear each other (and the radio) better!
