The normal engine running temperature is around 84 to 86C yesterday in traffic it was as high as 94C . The car was fitted with an alloy radiator by the last owner. Is this temperature rise normal? Neil
Perfectly normal, you wouldn't even notice it on a car fitted with a damped needle for a gauge rather than a numbered digital display. As with all cars, make sure your radiator fan is in good working order and you've got nothing to worry about.
This normal, when the temperature reaches 102 the fans will start. Sometimes just before that too. Alloy radiator is a good upgrade and usually after the old one has emptied it contents all over the windscreen! Enjoy the car.
