Anyone ever considered these?

Got them on my shortlist once my original ones will need to be binned.
Thanks for that.

Just had a look at them and I'm encouraged. Available in the sizes I need and from what I can see they get good reviews.

Price looks reasonable and I've added them to my short list.

Thanks for that. I can stop searching for them now!

I keep coming back to ADO8RS as they are one of the few tyres available in the in the size I need front and back.

Toyo Proxes TR1 are also available but reviews are generally poor.

Can't find anything from Pirelli, Michelin or Goodyear that fits either.

It's beginning to drive me nuts!
AD08R on my S1 111S, rears are getting changed to RS as replacements. For road, they are fine.

Not many companies provide 15/16" performance tyres now. Luckily Yoko do, and they are good, especially for light cars.

The only criticism I would make of the AD08 variants (and the AD07 before them) is that while they are better in the cold and wet than you would reasonably expect, they do still need a little circumspection in those conditions compared to a standard summer tyre.

As usual, I spent far too long reading a variety of opinions and reviews in a vain attempt to find the perfect tyre and was starting to suffer "paralysis by analysis". I'm no driving god and have little track day experience so concluded that the differences would probably be relatively small for someone like me.

I won't be driving the car in wet and but would like to start doing a few track days over the summer so decided to go with the Nankang NS-2R. Reviews were generally positive and they seemed like a good compromise for both road and track.

Order has now been placed so no groaning at the back please!

Time will tell.

I started this thread over 12 months ago and have read with interest the various views.

I’ve finally taken the plunge and ordered a set of AD08RS for my Elise which is still on the original AD07 LTS tyres from 13 yrs and 15000 miles. The rear AD07s are down to 2mm but the fronts are like new if anyone can make use of them 🤣

I’m sure whatever the 08’s are like they are going to be better than 13 yr old rubber.

I got a full set from Camskill for £420 so happy at that.
