1) Hi Yes it's an elise-shop spoiler (and union jack decals). I was VERY sceptical about buying it, some people complaining about quality issues, they look naff etc. But tbh I had no choice, after weeks of reading comments online and asking for pictures etc, I was planning on buying the one from Jon Seal (lotushardtops). But in reality, I am not financially well off compared to alot of owners, so couldn't justify the extra money, it is a better product in my opinion and therefore can demand the extra.
So I ordered the elise-parts spoiler, with the intention that if its really naff when I unbox it, I'll send it back. (tbf the site really isn't the best for information or pictures of it fitted). When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. Worked out just over £500 all in with the stickers, and is my favourite modification I have done so far. .... Yes it is smaller than the original, but that is only really noticeable if you park it next to a genuine one, for me it looks great, and that's all I care about
2) The uprights are metal, and pretty sturdy. I bought the non motorsport uprights, therefore direct bolt to clam, which I was nervous about, but after some high speed runs, it hasn't fallen off. Athough I am planning on making additional brackets that bolt from the spoiler fixings in the clam to the chassis. To take some stress off the clam, and to stiffen it up a little. I put a small brace in between the fixings inside, to spread out some of the stress on the clam.
3) Sure any excuse
Anymore questions or picture request... just let me know

Are you sure the uprights are metal? The last ones I saw were fiberglass....
Ermm well I had a look at these at the weekend after this comment as I started to doubt myself. They look/feel like aluminium to me, without removing them I can't be 100%, but i'd put my money being metal. If I get a moment I'll remove one as I am intrigued now.
I've boxes of bits sitting on the garage shelf waiting to be fitted, including a tweaked K-Series that should add 50% more power. Unfortunately I bought my wife a MK1 Golf cab which has taken the Elise's space on the lift and turned out to be a mechanical dog. Hopefully should have all the work done ready for the summer though. There is a build thread but haven't had anything to update for a while: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
I'll be at Goodwood on the 29th Feb with LOT.
