This is ours folks. Hope to see you in competition next year once we have finished the rolling resto. 3.1, 4 speed at the mo, decent spax adjustables all round now, bringing it back to decent running order after recent ownership by a young chap on a shoestring who knew he couldnt do it justice.
We are building fuel injection and a few other mods over winter as well as sorting the paint which is showing its age now...
BTW, lifting the back of the bonnet transformed the cockpit temp from inferno to merely tropical. - Still get feet roasted by floor after more than 20 mins though!

Always had a soft spot for the old GT shape. Remember RAC Scrutineer Sid Hanson's car fondly.
Considering a Scim or Gilbern as a usable every day car at the mo, or rather for next year after the hoos is nearer finished

Nice.

Nicer if you could lose the vinyl roof...

How are you going about the injection?

I am scratch building the manifold and using megasquirt. I have done a fair few conversions in the past in the course of earing a crust.
If you are interested, and it is not violating board rules about showing things that go on at work I could post up some pics of one we are doing for a friend right now, a Sebring (Austin Healey replica) with a 280z engine.
Being a newbie here I dont want to break the rules.

It's back to front too to clear the rollhoop. It does a great job as a cooler at anything under 40mph, and an even better one as an airbrake above it.
It does make summer driving much more bearable at low speeds.

Nicely done by the looks fo things.

The Essex inlet manifold is going to be more of a challenge, but I'd be keen to se what you come up with and possibly commission a duplicate.
