Just realised some lunatic had installed my front brake calipers on the wrong side and upside down so the nipples were at the bottom....Clever. Swapped them over, but obviously the copper brake pipes do not fit. Could someone pop a photo or diagram of the copper pipe run between flexi hose and caliper for me? I want it to look factory original, right now I can see about 6 routes to take, 5 or 6 of them will be wrong....

thanks, but what i would like is a photo of the rear of the hub, and a picture the route or the 12" or so the copper brake pipe should take between the flexi joining the hub and the caliper itself. Should be some sort of "s" shape

Got it sorted now! By pure fluke I was driving my van and passed a parked up Scimitar GTE... I knocked on the door and asked if I could have a look behind the wheels! Will not bore with the details, but whoever put the recon calipers on my car was a complete FOOL. The flexi pipes were connected to the wrong brackets, the copper brake pipes were crushed from hitting the wishbones on full lock and TOUCHING the DISCS and copper nearly worn through (scary with single circuit brakes), and the calipers were upside down with the nipples at the bottom.... Scary. All sorted now though, just as it left the factory.
