Supercharged boat anchor. Why not put a YB or a Cosworth V6 in there? 302 Mustang lump would sit prety.
Still £700 for a pinto powered beige-mobile.

I know the guy who used to have that Pinto car before him. He used it as a Movie prop, i am sure it has been used in a few films, the guy specialises in 60's stuff and does Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes and Lock Stock ect. I have a feeling it may have been used in the movie Bank Job with Jason Statham that came out a year or two back, i know he used several cars in that. In fact i nearly bought it, UNTIL i realised it did not have the original V6 in in....

I will introduce myself properly when i pick my Scimitar up next week.... I have a few questions about it!

SE5a auto, i am hoping it is a good one. Only thing i do not like is it is an Auto, i would prefer a manual but i like the car so am going to get it anyway. Is there anyone who specialises in conversions to manual, or is it a case of if i really want a manual buy a different car??

Converting auto to manual is pretty simple - there's a short list of bits needed. Expensive if you're not DIY, though.

Cheers, i have built a bike-engined Fury and "rebuilt" a few, so i should be ok if i know which parts to get!! I would like to keep it original as poss so i will keep the V6 (as much as i know a Honda S2000 and six speed box would probobly fit in there for a couple of grand) so i guess i need to source a dead manual Scimitar for the pedals ect? Is there a website or anything which lists the parts? Thanks, Lee.

Pinto engine....thats nothing.....know a guy who just sold his dead Scim to a guy who's going to put a Sherpa diesel engine in it, I mean, come on, all the time and effort to balls about doing that rather than just put another essex lump in it, shesh!
