pin in gearlever

hi, im having a spot of bother with the pin that connects the gear lever to the shaft. it keeps floating out and i lose all my gears, is there any reason i cant replace it with a nut n bolt, or is there another fix anyone can reccommend?

ahh yes of course, my bad lol, its an se5a with 4 speed plus overdrive, i think its that later box.

Can't help with the later one if you're sure that's what it is - try the scimitarweb forum?

If it's the early box - push-in prop type - then I've got a couple of those in pieces.
