I am in the process of ripping my scimi to bits, and the usual horror stories are still unfolding...
I need to see under the skin, so I have another couple of questions...

1) the door mounts look like they are pulling through the inner wings, are they re-inforced with steel?

2) the same for the seat mounts in the floor- there seems to be a reinforcement strip that looks more rotten than my grannies pants

3) is it safe to put paint stripper on the bodywork?
Im guessing it it, I just dont want to see it eating throught the GF

Also, are there any bits for these cars that are unobtainable?

Many thanks,

Benny

For the paint stripper some of the slow acting ones are ok. There was a test in this or last months Practical Classics which recommended a few for fiberglass. When mine was done they used some stuff from the USA. Ill see if I still have the bill for it.
