Where the hell can I get a decent one from, haynes do not have a listing for them!
I know I can get one on the essex v6 & probably for the tranny, just want 1 book rather than having to buy 3 or 4
Im just starting to do a semi-light restoration & technical info on Box & engine wold be a great help
as to would a wiring diagram!

Can someone shine some light on the subject before it all goes a bit Pete Tong.


Also some techie questions...
O/D not working (is it a common fault & what is the main cause)

I am in need of some black carpets & door cards- if anyone has any spare I will throw some beer chits your waybeer

Im thinking about a webasto roof- but have been told Its a bit of a job- has anyone got one on theirs? What sort of strenghtening work will need to go into the body?

Anyone know the values for tappet adjustment?

Sorry for all the questions, just really eager to get her back on the road!

You should be able to get the original Reliant worshop manual as a pdf file on CD form Graham Walker.

graham walker ltd of chester. they are a major scimitar dealer and also own the manufacturing rights to the Middlebridge scimitar too iirc. they are based at sealand rd ind estate iirc

http://www.grahamwalker.co.uk/ is their website. They are one of two largeish parts suppliers for Scimitars. They dont tend to sell many Scimitars these days. Last time I was there they had about twenty Subarus Imprezas and one Scimitar in.

thats true, scimitar car sales are very low for them now but they still supply most of the trade with scim parts and even undertake re-commisioning of rare or discontued parts. To be fair, they are a reasonably sized operation, and its unrealistic to expect their car showroom to be full of scims that sell slowly. they still buy and sell cars 'behind the scenes' including breakers and accident damaged.
