Only have good memories of this beast - Had a great time driving round France, furthest we got was to Montpellier, not a single problem. smile

Owned around 1989 - 1990







Would be great if still about

yes DVLA still confirms its on the road, sadly due to data protection act it will be difficult to contact current owner

Hi,

Indeed your car does still exist. It was on Ebay for sale earlier in the year. I don't know who bought it or how much it went for.

I will try and put a couple of the photos of it here soon.

WOW - that's great news, and thanks for the work in locating. I really would have liked to keep this one, but the housing crash of 1990 brought all the Scimitar fun to an abrupt end frown also had to sell my house and go back to mums - doh!

Wow - gob smacked! Thanks scimmie for being an anorak wink VPY looks superb, I don't know how many owners after me but they all took real care, looks just the same, just a few bits here and there - but after 15+ years looks superb. (darn thing is I could have considered buying her back through eBay frown )

...look the rear wiper still parks correctly smile and that stainless steel exhaust looks the same too, I wonder if the wheels ever got lacquered? Frequent polishing when I had them due to the lack of lacquer
