After some requests the Classic Modified Saloons (part of the Classic Touring Car Club) are going to open up their eligibility criteria to fibreglass bodied 4 seater cars such as Scimitars.

Is this of interest to anyone?

Might be of interest to Johnnymaestro - he has a race-prepped car, but most of the others I know of, including my own, are sprints and hills only. We simple types get lost on real circuits...

Hi Denis,

Could well be interested, I'm currently considering removing the arches from my Scimitar to race in a classic series next season and could be interested in the CTCC if I could run with them?

Could you have a look at the picture of the car in my profile and tell me what you think (about 2 1/2" wider than standard)??

Cheers,

Paul.

Sounds interesing.

When car is rebuilt I will be more intersted.

Will see them at race retro again i would think. Means I could race it somewhere apart from at my own meetings which can prove difficut.

As previously promised, Classic Modified Saloons has amended it's regs to allow fibreglass bodied four seater cars to join in.

So, if you have a 4 seater Scimitar and fancy racing it, please get in touch.

For information the regs are available at the following link -
