scimitars at Harewood Hillclimb June 3rd
Discussion
Have a good one. Got washed-out at Gurston last weekend: from first in class in dry practice on the Saturday to last in class by a mile on the soggy Sunday.
A 185bhp Scimitar can be quicker than a 285bhp Impreza in the dry, but it's not the same story in the wet...
The event was binned after the first timed runs on the Sunday after a couple fo the National Championship contenders surfed off the road in Hollow.
New Kumhos have sharpened-up the turn-in, though: all I need is a dry day to learn to really lean on them.

ha ha, id not even noticed! as it was my first event of the year i was totally disorganised, race bag was full of all last years commentary sheets, entry stuff, crisp packets etc etc and a big bag or numbers so i never checked. My good lady (have to say that she may check this forum...) offered to put the numbers on sunday morning and found i had loads of some but no 2s. Harewood came to the rescue as they sold numbers on the day, albeit diddy ones by the looks.

Thanks for those BlueMr2! my ol SS1 looks nearly clean in the pics!
No problem, i have high resoloution ones, but made them small with there being 16, large pictures may take over the thread somewhat.Turbster said:
Yeah, cheers for those, how did you take them from there??
You can walk round through the car park and view from the fence near the little hut the marshalls use on the last corner.I have another 17 photos from a later run as well actually.
