No quite the opposite. I run a car in the RSSOC Hill Climb and Sprint Championship but I had a slight argument with a barrier at the Prescott Hill climb last year, see photos on pages 44,45 of the current slice mag. So I went looking for a new body and I bought this car with the idea of using the body and then selling the rest of the parts. But as the car is in really good nick I've changed my mind and I'm now looking for a cheap or free body so I can put it onto my car and then have it resprayed.

I guess I'm not the memory man then. I think I know 2 people that their first name begin with the letter C and drive an SS1. You wouldn't happen to be the man who's been seen just about everywhere recently basking the glory?? If it is, nice wheels on the van (pimp my van style) and if it isn't then that probably doesn't mean much at all.

Hi Craig, yeah you can't keep me away. I had a long long hard think over the winter and decided to continue with the Scimitar as it's as much about having fun and getting together with rest of the guys as it is anything else.
Hi Paul, ehhh what do you need another one for when you already have that gorgeous rather wide orange number? Mind you with my memory (what oil patch) you could be a different Paul. I only bought the car a few weeks ago with the intention of swapping either the bits from my car onto this one or swap the body onto my car. After having a long conversation with my mechanic and mentor (oh yes) a.k.a Ben I came to conclusion it would be better to replace the body on my car. So I'm now on the look out for a new body hopefully free or really cheap which I can then have resprayed, for about the same as I paid for this one, just got to decide on a colour.
No idea when I'll be ready loads of stuff to do, with the major one of finding a body still to get done.

Hi Jonathan, I'll use the forum rather than popping round next door... If you look on the scimitarweb (www.scimitarweb.co.uk). Go to the discussion forum and look under SE5/5a, then the topic is Se5, coupe... (a link wont't work hence the description). The is someone selling of her ex-husbands project cars. They are in Birmingham.

Cheers Ben....... just emailed her and..... oh bugger she's already got someone to come and pick it up but if they don't turn up she said that she'll let me know.
The free se5a in the slice is still available apparently with a missing door but I can't see for a couple of weeks as the guys is working away. I'd still like to get a 5 if I could though.
