does anybody know this car? i think it wasnt easy to lift the body as the outtriggers are molded into the body-sills...or am i totally wrong?

Body needs a bit of a wiggle to get it off the chassis, but that's all. There is some steelwork moulded into the body - roll-over bar, door hinge supports and a few other bits and pieces, but the chassis itself is totally separate.

i thought the outtriggers on the "old-shaped" scimitars, before the facelift, had been in the sills?

i dont find the web-link anymore, which showed such a repair.....

No they are definately part of the chassis. If you look at my website you can see the separate chassis at http://nwarner.worldonline.co.uk/scim

There are metal strengtheners in the sills and if you go to http://nwarner.worldonline.co.uk/scim you can see what happens to them and how I repaired them.
