I don't know about East Sussex I have seen a few SE5a's in Worthing though. I use my SE5a as an every day car in the Chichester area and only know of one or two that are on the road.

hi, im in west sussex and i just bought a scimitar, well its been chopped about a bit.

the plan is to maybe supercharge it and get some metalflake paint on it. oh and some sort of bonnet scoop big enough to swallow a cow.

Hi 227angrydonkeys

Can you send me anymore pictures of your GTE pickup? I will put them in the modified motors section of my website:

www.sporting-reliants.com/ModifiedMotors.htm

I am always after pictures of Scimitars and Sabres whether its race, rallied, customised, concours or used daily etc, so if anyone else has nice pictures send them to me at dave_poole8@hotmail.com

Just bought a p-reg(1976, I think) in yellow with brown cloth interior.

I think I may have got something worthwhile.................67000 miles, 2 owners, full history and recently had engine overhaul and chassis refurbishment.

Apparantly even the overdrive works properly. Will come with 12-months MOT.

I am on the east/west sussex border.

Plan is to use the car for the winter whilst the Griff is laid up, then maybe sell on next summer to an enthusiast.

See ya around

hello
i live in east sussex, and have a number of scimitars. but none are road worthy at the moment.i see this link is over a year old so it might have been me you saw. was the car biege with a sunroof?or i might have been driving a tatty yellow one around.i know that theres a silver one in eastbourne, normally parked up near travis perkins.and theres a green SE6 on hastings sea front.
im hoping to get my newly restored machine going this year, ive got to put the interior back in,engines nearly done.
