My parents have had an 1975 SE6a for about 18 years. Over that time it was been maintained by Terry Cox when necessary. It has standard the mods - SS exhaust, steel timing gears, new bushes. They were passive members of the RSSOC. A few years ago thye got newer cars and has been only used a few times since. I think it has a current MOT. They have tried to sell it a few times, but not too seriously:- asked too much and got no calls. The car is an automatic and is in basically undercoat grey, so does to my mind has little showroom appeal, but then I like my V6 Fords to be TVR shaped.

Few questions, where should they advertise it? How much should they ask? Or do you just put it on ebay with a low reserve and hope it goes?

Why dont you try PH classifieds? Another good place to try is the online Practical Classics classifieds www.practicalclassics.co.uk/classifieds. As for pricing it depends on condition anywhere from 350 for a driveable wreck to 2500 for a really nice example.
