Yep.

Any Salisbury 4HU PowrLok LSD from a Jaguar will fit the Salisbury 4HA axle fitted to SE5A - SE6B Scimitars.

That means any Jaguar from S-Type & E-Type to XJ-S.

You cannot, however, combine 'imperial' Scimitar parts with metric Jaguar ones - ie bolt a Scimitar crownwheel to a late XJ-S LSD unit; and since the Scimtar axle is 'fully floating' you will need a spacer to sit in the centre of the LSD and keep the halfshafts apart.

All the seals and bearings are the same, but the Jaguar seals are much better.

Be warned, however, that a Scimitar with an LSD can be a bit of a handful, as I confirmed with a tidy little spin at Wiscombe Park hillclimb yesterday.

Nick.

Edited 'cos I got my 7HAs mixed-up with my 4HAs.

Yes - there's a round of the RSSOC Speed Championship there in September.
