Hi Paul, sorry to read about your damage, I had a similar incident a couple of years back, 3rd gear, 4000 revs, slightly greasy road, sent me sideways at 60mph down a dual carriageway with the front underside of the car running along a high curb.

Horizon gave me the all clear, but to teach myself a lesson (financially), I had the lower front painted.

My injured dignity has now recovered...I suppose my financial lesson is meeting the insurance excess of £250. I am of course mighty thankful that I climbed out uninjured...the unseen hand of fate did not see fit to give me a James Dean style exit from this life ... leastways not yet.
