Hallo. Was in Offord yesterday getting me MOT sorted out. Noticed there was a VERY clean red Chim, think it was *600 C*M.
Just wanted to say how nice it looked, except for the veneer etc on the dash, which I think was being sorted?
Anyway, just before I left, the chap started it up to take it into the shop, revved it to 5K from cold and wheelspan into the garage (only kidding!).
The car sounded superb, so I asked why. Turns out the cherry bomb mod had been done by Offord, now I want mine doing.

That would have been Roosters. Her dash has been like that for a while now - typical woman too bloody lazy to sort it out (Sorry Roo).
The cherry bomb does indeed sound good, much better/deeper than the usual stright pipes put in by many other garages. Cost is £140 plus VAT.

thanks very much I must say I LOVE my chim, he burbled so beautifully all the way home, lots of overrun, sounds lovely and I never tire of the sound even going to France and back!
and the veneer is getting sorted once I decide on which to get Alu or walnut?

Id stickto walnut, the car looks so good as it is original.
Wondering, what are Offord like for servicing, I intend to ake mine in the new year for service, chassis treatment, now maybe exhaust.
They have treat me well thus for with the MOT, just after your opinion.
