Spotted at around 2:10pm on the A556 in Cheshire just off the Bowdon (I think?) roundabout. The rear end was wedged in the hedge (the rest seemed intact though), I was driving in the opposite direction on my way to pick someone up from the airport but it seems someone in a Jag XK was there to help.

I assume it was flashgitindenial|http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/profile.asp?h=0&memberId=23137. The weather conditions were truly horrendous so I hope the damage wasn't too severe. My first sighting of a new Tuscan on the road too. :(

WTF!!!! The TVR community is relatively small and in many cases when a TVR is crashed someone on here knows the owner, for that reason most posts such as the above are done both out of concern for the owner and to let other PHers that may know the owner of whats happened. Comments such as yours are totally out of place and I suggest you feck off back to whichever other forums you happen to frequent.
For the record I hope the driver of the Tuscan is OK and that everything is sorted out quickly.

Your not a closet Trevor are you ?

You know you want one.

Give that Volvo back to the old bill & get yourself in to a Sagaris.

Hoi! Nothing wrong with Granadas! OK I wouldn't say they had "lots" of power but then again they're not meant to be sports cars, but for a fairly luxurious barge, they can move a wee bit!

Well, I liked mine...

I too have had one, 2.0 Ghia, 90 on a H plate. I hate to admit this, but my most comfortable car to date, heated front screen.......Hang on, I'm starting to sound like the Volvo fella.

I think they're a good car, but powerful ?

Saying that, didn't the 2.9 have a 24v Cosworth block in it ?

Back on subject; Hope the Tuscy driver is fine.

Hope the driver is o.k. and the car is back to its full glory very soon.

This is the time of year that we will see more 'spotted's' anyway, as we will all be driving with the weather conditions in mind, so anyone in a volvo will actually be able to keep up to see us!

Well, some years ago I had a go in a new TVR Cerbera, didnt really like it, too low down, and too damm noisy.

Currently got a nice comfortable Volvo S80T5, did a nice one day drive from Aberdeen to London this year, as comfortable when I got there as when I started.

Apart from looking nice, I honestly cant see this TVR thing, each to their own I guess, must be or else they wouldnt sell so many.

But how many I wonder are sort of status symbols.

Also from reading this site, they dont seem all that reliable, is this a fact! or not?, just wondered.

My honest rating:- Looks 10/10
Comfort 2/10

As I have said elswhere, I think TVR's are smashing looking cars, just not my cup of tea, mind they always turn my head when I see one, honest.

Cavalier SRI 2 ltr was quite nice, red line at just a tad over 70 in 2nd, and 95 in 3rd, even had it up to its claimed 135 at one time, mind this was about 15 years ago, I have calmed down a bit now. Anyway the Volvo is quite nippy, not concerned about 0-60 a bit irrelevent these days, but hey I am not knocking the TVR owners, just to re-iterate, they are smashing looking cars. Safe driving you guys.

Well a 2.9 V6 isnt exactly sluggish is it, hey I have driven a Cerbera, have you driven a Granada V6 2.9....Not that I am trying to compare the two, different motors all together.
