That was me! Yes I know it was a while ago, but only recently started looking at this site! I work there too, just brought it in for the day, to show the lads in the office, and also I was still running in and needed the miles to hit the 1000 mark!

There is Cafe India a few doors down, but not sure they are still open, often closed. You are probably thinking of Cafe Spice (I think) which is in Prescot St, runs parallel to Alie St, just a bit nearer the river.
