V8 Smiths V8 at Austec?

Mike,
Was that your V8 parked up at Austec on Friday? Was dropping my Chim off for the week for a service and underbody seal and noticed a tarted up V8 parked next to mine.

Yep that would be my car, in for a new radiator, so without it for a few days which is a pain especially as the weather is so good today???

Hope it rains all week, then I wont miss it much!

Mike, saw your car there Saturday moring when I went in to get 'something minor' fixed. Gave your car little pat.

Suffice to say my minor fix (clutch master seal) has turned into a short stay with Austec (clutch slave seal, or something like that, and a stone went through the headlight on the drive over there)

Hopefully catch up soon, any meets coming up as I am free the next two weekends? I have had the 'cherry bomb' fitted to the exhaust, so interested to hear your thoughts on how much different it sounds?

Hi Bob its a form of straight through pipe instead of some of the soundproofing, result is amazing?? Have you heard Hoovers Griff...? Hes had the cherry bomb conversion done, sounds awesome. After following Hoover, his WAS the best sounding car I have ever heard I just had to get it done. Catch up soon and you can have a listen as long as you dont get as close as last time....
