But is it really being used and is it even sensible on wet, icy roads full of salt? I'd say it was foolish. If you look up the history of the car, it was off the road between 2018 and 2021. The current owner bought it in January 2021. The MOT at the time mentioned corrosion. The current MOT doesn't, so money has been spent on attending to that. The best way to make it corrode again is to take it out on wet salty roads!
It's a car that covered less than 1K miles between January 21 and March 22, so it's hardly being used. Why use a hardly used TVR in winter?

I'm careful to avoid salted roads with my TVR, but the vast amount of rain and mild temperatures for the last 5 days will have removed most of it, especially since it's in the South of England.
Take it from somebody who actually has one. Unless the whole chassis has recently been refurbed, the vast majority of deterioration has already taken place. If you want to drive it, drive it.

Yet another pointless negative comment from LucyP. I have decided you are either a Bot or are employed by someone to try to get the post numbers up.
I have also wondered about this. All posts by LucyP seem to be intended to cause a reaction and create further discussion.
I also noticed that there seemed to be an increasing number of new users who's first, and sometimes only, post was to ask a question and start a discussion.
Seems odd and does not feel genuine.
Because of these things I stopped updating my readers' car thread and I rarely post a reply.
I can vouch for the owner of the car that it has, in fact, been very wet and rainy over the past week in Exeter. The roads dried out nicely for a period of a couple of days, so other than a bit of detritus, it's fair game.
I don't understand the need to pass such comments, it really is bizarre.
Love seeing any Tiv out and about.
