Spotted yesterday on a *** ROC plate near Penn, copper cascade possibly, looking in exceptional condition considering the mileage, has it cracked the 300k miles yet ?

That's an incredible mileage for a speed 6 shorts!, did you buy it from new and has the engine been rebuilt dare i ask ?

Bought from new.
No major engine work til 160,000. It was upgraded to a Powers 4.3. Then somewhere in the mid 200s finally traced an ongoing issue to a tiny, tiny hole in the block - which I replaced.
The engine now is better than ever and the 4.3 upgrade was money well spent with a little more power but a lot more low down grunt, allowing a bit less gear changing and a surprising improvement in fuel consuption.
Well used (including many trackdays) and well loved.....
