Couldn’t believe this spot - dark Monday morning filling up my Tuscan ready to take it for a 6k service and a yellow Cerb burbles past.

Private plate - Kxxx xxx
Looked good, not seen many TVRs around here.

Firstly, this isnt me but i'm hijacking the thread, sorry!

I'm down that way and used to own an imperial blue 4.2L mk1 cerb, and ran in to a yellow cerb a couple of times around Exeter. No idea who owns it though.

I'm currently driving a 4.5L reflex charcoal Cerb and haven't seen a single TVR since getting it. Gutting really as for a TVR nut like me its always great to see others on the road.

You both picked a rough morning weather wise though, it was hammering it down all of Sunday.

My excuse was that I was taking mine for a service! So had little choice but to brave the weather, fortunately it stayed dry and the roads were ok, no dramas.

I’ve not spied many TVRs in Exeter, from memory... this yellow Cerb, a silver Cerb and a grey chimera are it. I did meet a fella with a turbo’d chim who is from nearby too.

Likewise, seen a few chims and one or two other tuscans but this is over a period of 10 years or so.

Becoming rarer than rocking horse s**t it seems. Mind you, not so much the season for it.

Where'd you get it serviced?

Edit: I just remembered I saw the dewalt liveried LeMans T Car, T400 I think? On the back of a trailer coming off junction 29. I know from previous dealings Dennis Leach maintains one of them for a museum and he is down this way. Maybe I should start a topic for that one on its own as I got unreasonably excited about seeing it.

Yeah they’re a rare sight nowadays, I’ve been to a few breakfast club meets and stuff around he south west and always see a lot more the closer to Bristol I go.

I take my Tuscan to Jon at Purbeck Sports Cars in Poole. He does a top job.

Hi ya, I have a red Cerb, I’m down in Plymouth, I knew of a yellow one that was also in Plymouth but he sold it a year or so ago, as far as I know mine is now the only one in Plymouth. There is a green one down near Camborne (Matt Wiggins) he’s on here and in the Facebook group. Aslo, I think the Cornwall TVR club R.O. Has one, but I have never come across another Cerb down this way either. Shame really cause it would be nice to have a run out with another Cerb occasionally. Very thin on the ground down these parts!
