Someone I know said the commentators on Eurosport said there were 4000 TVRs at Le Mans.

Anyone else hear that? Can't believe it myself.

Probably more like 400...?

I heard that, but then after my mention (following an e-mail to them) they had another gibber about the number of TVRs there and said 400 - so I guess they had an over-exuberant zero first time around!!

The thought of 4000 TVR's all working simultaneously, for long enough to get their owners to Le Mans, is, let's face it, just a little on the unbelieveable side...

For the classic TVR's at Le Mans an honourable mention to

-Red Vixen
-Yellow M series with black vinyl roof (if a nutter in shorts on the back of a motorbike banged your roof at Arnage as he went past, that was me showing my appreciation)

at Indianapolis on the Friday.

There was a figure being banded about after last year's LM of circa 2000 TVRs in attendance.

Surely peeps have better things to do than walking round campsites counting cars? Wasnt there some race on or something?

We followed a yellow M on the M25 and back up the M1 on Monday night after getting off the ferry. Two nutters grinning away in there, kept us entertained ! Wonder if that was Supaspark ?

I was at the roundabout in Arnarge on Sunday evening. Spotted a silver Sagaris, a dark T350, only one (dark) Chim and four Griffs, two of which had double white stripes up the bonnet.

Anyone here?

There are normally more Tivs there on the Sunday evening - a little disappointing.

Did see a Porker on the back of a low loader, which was great to see as one of the guys in our party has a 996 and is always winding me up about the reliability of Tivs......

Also spotted a fabulous T400R on the track and spotted it again when I was in the Peninsular pit halfway through and at the end of the race!
