Being out of the country my Dad, bless him, has offered to pick Amy (my Chim) up from the garage in Nottingham and take her back to the house, in Oakham. His route should be along the A606 through Melton Mowbray but I have a funny feeling he may deviate from this route.

I'd be interested to know if anyone spots an L reg starmist green Chim bein HOONED about today and where!? I just know he's gonna stray! :hehe:

[small]There is a good chance he will have the roof down (regardless of wind, hail, meteorites) and Elvis will be blairing out of the car at high volume.[/small]

Good luck to him I say!

Out of interest, which garage in Nottingham do you use - is it service or repairs you are using them for? Are they TVR specialists?

Not a TVR specialist I dont think, they're a local garage that I bought the car from a few months back.

On the test drive the oil pressure gauge was working fine but the chap who owned the garage said it had been playing up and if it were to start again, I could bring it back and he would have a look at it for me.

Anyway, it started playing up again a few weeks back so my dad has taken it back. Not only did the chap have a look, but he completely replaced the gauge and the sender unit. Free of charge! A dam nice chap.

I don't really begrudge my dad a hoon, I'm just interested to know where he ends up.
