Interesting to note the very early 54 reg, the lack of Plexiglass spoiler and the Tuscan cans on it...

Did sound rather lovely though! biggrin

I think that may be a T350 converted to a Sag lookalike.

Seems odd not to put the spoiler on it when you've gone to the trouble of a roof bubble.

Yup more than just grafting on some arches and fitting wheel spacers there! Were the first sags registered as t350s anyway ?

I thought the first Sags were 05 plate, but could easily be wrong, and that the early ones didn't have the duck tail spoiler - until they worked out it needed one.

Interestingly (or not), Mat Smith has attached a very similar spoiler to his race Chimaera, after the aerodynamics of the car were dramatically changed when going from an open top format to fitting a hard top not dissimilar in shape to the T350/Sagaris body outline.
The subsequent removal of the racing front splitter, and the addition of the duck tail, has dramatically improved the stickability of the rear of the car and reduced its blossoming friendship with gravel traps.
