Great turnout of TVRs at the breakfast club today!

There was a really interesting looking Tuscan with air intake/filter poking out through the bonnet, massive boost(??) gauge bolted to the dash and a Dyno sheet showing 520+ HP eek

Would love to know a bit more about the car if it's anyone on here!

Was it a hideous Steve Heath 'like' creation.

There was a build thread on this about 6-7 years ago. But because he was not using an LS motor he received a fair bit of criticism and left the tread which was a shame as the guy was clearly a talented engineer.

Perhaps it doesn't belong to the same guy any more as it looked like it'd been in a destruction derby and is a real Heath Robinson affair.

It had these odd looking brass fixings emerging from the pod top, a bit like the bolts from Frankensteins neck. It really is a sad sight.

All tuscans have those!! It's where the shift up lights are supposed to sit!! smile this cars appear to have dropped off.

Granted, the car has cosmetically seen better days, but it got to goodwood under its own steam so to speak.

Still intrigued by what it's had done to it!

A true monstrosity I saw there was a bad attaempt at making a jag XKR look like a Ferrari 550. Complete with wonky stick on letters on the back.

Bad bad bad

It was built by a chap called Richard Lane. When I saw it a few years ago it had a 350ci small block Chevy bored/stroked to 383ci.

Looks like the original builder sold it a few years back and bought a vx220...

http://socforum.com/forum/showthread.php?20262-Mee...

The original builder argued profusely an LS wouldn't fit in a T-car chassis... on the same thread this was subsequently discovered to be cobblers, when someone posted a pic of a T car with an LS

Obviously an LS into a Tuscan etc has been done several times now.

An air filter sticking out the bonnet is just not cool... the thing clearly doesn't fit.

Mark I actually felt sorry for the poor thing. Bits fallen off, bits sticking out.

Maybe we should start the RSPT

The Royal Society for the Protection of Tvrs spin

Gosh, I forgot how "heated" things could get in here sometimes! smile

TY for the links!

Sold it 'cos it got spanked by a VX220!

and yes, it didn't look cool, "interesting", but not cool/good! smile
