Bought 2006 Saab 93 1.9 Tid Sport 2006 couple of weeks ago, problem starting it.
Turn on cold start 3 times and would fire up. But last couple of days every so often lost acceleration when setting off but then went fine, until today won't start just flattened battery(new) Display on Dash says water in fuel but after turning key and runnin check again comes up ok.
Changed heat plugs, fuel filter and cambelt recently, Anyone got any ideas please

The water in oil is a red herring, it says that if the car doesn't start properly sometimes. I would look at the EGR valve, that is a common failure. Also they suffered from a wiring harness probelm and that can cause it not to start. An EGR valve is about £100 and can be fitted yourself. the wiring harness thing has to be done by saab and is about £50
