2004 Saab 9-3 Radio not working

I washed my carpets and then found my radio had stopped working.

I found water in the amp under the drivers seat.

Anyone any experience of something similar?

Can I change my amp with one from a breakers or will it require coding in my Saab dealer?

yeah lots of people do this and yeah it just plugs in.
