Hi Folks, anyone a member of the Saabscene forum? I am just about to buy a 9-3 Aero and wish to register on the forum but it keeps saying my email address is not acceptable? Any advice greatly appreciated!

Hi Big Al and thanks for reply. Tried that my computer won't allow me to email them, windows vista just confuses me-not difficult!! Looks like I won't be getting on their forum. Never had the problem with any others. Hey ho.

After some issues some time back, Saabscene blocked forum registrations using hotmail and other such types of account, so if your using a hotmail one you won't be able to register.

Try UKSaabs forum instead, most of the same people post there too.

Let me know if you still want to register on Saabscene - I'll try to find out if you can get in with the hotmail account (I'm a mod on Saabscene). I'm sure gmail accounts are blocked too. We were getting a lot of new spam members posting hard core porn links and pics.

UKSaabs is very good as has been mentioned. There's also Saabcentral, though I've not been on there for ages...

As you are UK based (and from north of the border) Saabscene won't give you any more than UKSaabs will (lots of Scots on UKSaabs ) as from a technical point of view almost all the knowledgable techie posters from SS post on UKSaabs as well.
In fact, I'd say your more likely to get a quicker answer on UKSaabs as posters tend to spend more time there because it's not just a 'tech' forum which is the case for Saabscene, so some posters may only go to Saabscene on a less frequent basis.

Having just put a deposit on a 2007 model 9-5 Aero estate i find myself in this forum looking to see if there's any Saab forums that come recommended and this thread is at the top of the list. Perfect timing!
