Hi,
Not had a Saab before and have road tested this car is the price about right?What should i be looking for for this age and mileage of car it's just had a new alternator.

I have now bought it and collect saturday.
I did try 8.5k but setteled on 9k it also has the hirsch engine mod so i reckon price is fair.

That's a nice set of alloys on it; quite a rare design (and much better than the 3-thick/3-thin spokers that come on most diesel Vector Sports). ERG valve and front springs snapping are the main things to look out for on the diesel 9-3s, but fingers crossed you've got yourself a decent example and you won't have any issues with it. Check out some of the saab-specific forums (Saabscene, Saabscentral, UKSaabs etc) for help and advice.

Getting on well with car drives well i find the brakes a bit soft rather spongey but that really is all i can fault.
Sat nav works ok but no post code like the audi i had i can't get the voice reconigtion to work with the phone any help on this?
That said great value for what i paid just have to wait and see what mpg she returns should be better than my audi
