Putting my beloved 9-5 Aero up for sale shortly, and was wondering what peoples thoughts were on the value of these at the minute. It's a manual, 2003, 75k.

Parkers say £3,400 private, good condition.

Are they worth a bit more to Saab fans?

Hi, is it an estate? If so I'm looking for one at the moment!

It depends..... Parkers have always been 'unkind' with Saab values, but it's quite low milage and if it has a FSSH and whatnot, £3.5k should be attainable I would think. 04/05 poverty spec cars from indie traders are selling in the mid £5k price range, so the better spec 03 cars should in theory make the higher end of the £3k price range as a private sale.

I'm in the same boat being about to put my 2004 Aero up for sale and not knowing where to pitch the price.

Estate are the ones that hold their value..... although I have no idea why, unless you have a dog or want to transport bulky objects, there's actually more room in the boot of the saloon than the load area of the estate.

To give you an idea - I've just bought a 2002 51-reg 9-5 Aero estate, automatic with 67k miles, full Saab history, 1 year MOT, 6 month warranty, pretty much all the toys..... for £2.5k.

That was from a garage.
