Out of interest, what sort of economy are you getting?

I'm thinking of going for an 08 plate 1.9Tid Auto Estate, so it would be interesting to know what economy you are achieving.

My '06 93 Tid Vector Sportwagon gives me 45-47mpg commuting Oxford-LHR if I keep it below 85. If I keep it below 75, it gives up to 50mpg. Towing returns 30-34 depending on how hilly the journey. I am well chuffed with that; the car has 61k miles on at the moment and I bought it mid april with 50k miles. Nice car all round; smooth and quiet and goes like stink when one hits the loud pedal considering the weight (including tons of 1/2 leather seats) Only gripe is that there are sometimes annoying little dash buzzes and creaks but the only times I hear them is when out with my OH - on my own I don't hear them as I have the radio on. I would think that the mpg with the auto would not be quite as good but not a lot in it unless towing.
