Looks very nice. As long as you are happy with it.

Check the steering rack mountings are tight, bushes for wear, bulkhead for damage.

Plenty of reconditioned SIDs out there, or look on Ebay for the DIY kits to fix it yourself.

Ive Got a Sid3 whatever the difference is , there is a chap on ebay ha repairs them for £40 with lifetime guarantee so i will give that a go when im back in blighty.

Me and the car are currently back in France working just outside of Paris , it seems to get a few looks from the frogs, but then there are not many saab's in france so stands out a little ,
also it goes like a stabbed rat with a rocket up its arse !

Think the rear mount is a bit duff though so taking it steady untill i can either get it fixed here (opel saab dealer here in rambouillet) or do it my self when i get back .

All Saab 9-3s are vague steerers, an Abbott steering rack clamp will resolve it.

Shhh ... ive not had to do any of that on mine yet !

1st thing i did was a trip to kwik fit for an oil change and ac regas (at the time it wouldnt work and got it free hehe )

It has the best seats ive ever come across , they really are brilliant (fecked back from an accident)

allways had an odd soft spot for saabs and volvos , the volvo itch was scratched years ago , and this saab has scratched the saab itch very well , GM900 it may be called but its definately a saab smile

as gadgety as it is , the black panel is just brilliant

A 22mm rear anti roll bar upgrade , lowered decent quality springs & gas dampers aswell as the rack clamp will transform your Saab.

Mine is on rails...

Sorry for taking an absolute age to reply, kwik fit say if they recharge it and it still dosent work then there is no charge for the regas, so after they did it the AC still refused to work, i decided to have a look and removed the relay for teh elctro clutch on the compresor and used a jumper wire with the car running and kept triggering the clutch, eventualy it click into life as it had got stuck, after that the AC worked fine untill we PX'd it in for a VW beetle cabrio for the wife.

Im back in another Saab now, a 2002 2.3t se 9-5 estate
