I'm getting the Saab itch again (nearly scratched it once but ended up buying a Porsche instead). Anyway, In the Alfa Romeo Owner's Club there's plenty of cheap motorsport on offer that doesn't need special licences or insurance to do - a sprint series and regionally-organised road-rallies and the like.

Does the Saab club offer anything similar? I would compete in my Alfa, but I think I'd rather push a Saab to its limits rather than the 155, I think Saabs are more robust.

Does anyone know? Does anyone compete?

Cheers

Suggest you check out www.uksaabs.co.uk - plenty of trackdays arranged by members throughout the year. A friendly and helpful site.

No, they don't.

There are a number of guys running 93 two-strokes and 96 V4's and 99T's in historic rallying but, there's no specific owners club organised motorsport events/championship etc.

As mentioned, there are a few Saab specific track days in the UK where plenty of guys with more modern Saab's take an active interest in, but track days arn't motorsport wink
