Updating a 2.0l 8V to 16V

Hi all,
Im new to pistonheads and also to saabs. I was wondering what and how much knowledge it would take to convert swap an 8V motor to 16V, im not good with wiring which is the problem. The car is a 1988 900i. Any help appreciated
